Thank you for giving me this opportunity. For it gives me a great pleasure to be part of this noble and humane work which was initiated by Sanghamitra Bose. Let me tell you a little bit about  Sanghamitra Bose.

In 2003 Ms. Bose started a charity house with a small amount of Rs. 2000. With her vision, hard work and determination she has now built this outstanding organization, SShrishti Charity house. She has single handedly nurtured this organization and brought lights in the lives of thousands of young deprived children from the slums in New Delhi by providing them with basic education and meals.

What started in New Delhi has now spread to various remote villages in India, in Rajastan, Haryana, and U.P. The basic education which these children receive intends to take them out of the slum environment and empower them to find a better life for themselves and their families. More often than not, these children lack the basic necessities of life and are not able to move away from the slums. By providing them with meals, and education, these children are given a chance to break away from their harsh and unhealthy environment.

Ms. Bose took a wide stride in this humanitarian work, a courageous step that deserves not only recognition from all of us in this society, but also support and encouragement. Ms. Bose started this and now it's our turn to lend a hand and give her the necessary support to continue with this noble mission.

I call upon you my friends to take a small stride, a small change, because a small change, can change a lot.
Let me now introduce you to the lady who started the chain of changes, with limited resources but unlimited determination. Ms Sanghamitra Bose.
