UAE Ambassador H.E. Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Al Owais attended India-UAE football match for second round of the two legged 2014 World Cup qualifiers, which played at Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi on 28th July 2011.

Team India came back from two goals down to hold UAE 2-2 in the second-leg of the World Cup Qualifier. But India lost as UAE made it to the next round winning 5-2 on aggregate.
