CELEBRATES 35TH ARMED FORCES UNIFICATION DAY
|
The Military Attaché of the Embassy of UAE in India, Brig. Staff Pilot Mohamed Ibrahim Al Tamimi hosted a grand Reception on 6th May, 2011 at ITC Maurya, to mark the 35th Anniversary of the UAE Armed Forces Unification Day.
The event was attended by UAE Ambassador to India H.E. Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Al Owais along with all the Diplomats of the Embassy Col. Pilot Jassim Al Jassmy-Deputy Military Attaché, Mr. Mansour Mohamed Al Juwaied-Second Secretary, Mr. Khalid Al Neaimi-Administrative Attaché, Mr. Khamis Al Qayidi-Assistant Military Attaché and Mr. Saeed Al Naqbi-Assistant Military Attaché. The gathering saw a large number of dignitaries including the Ambassadors of the Arab Nations.

The Defence Attaches of United States of America, Singapore, United Kingdom, Kenya, Ukraine, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Japan and China, Egypt and many others were also a part of the celebration.
To make the evening memorable and exciting we had with us 4 of the leading Airlines of the UAE — Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Emirates and Etihad, who as a gesture of goodwill sponsored couple tickets, the winners being chosen by way of Lucky Draws. Etihad Airways was the sponsorer of the grand prize for a pair of Business Class tickets. This was apart from the gifts that were presented to each of our honored guests who attended the Reception.
The food, the venue, the ambience and the presence of the most elite group of guests, made the evening very memorable and a cherished moment for all those present. |
